JUST AS IT IS
When sleep won't come, I write. I write about those things in my past which keep sleep from me. I write about life’s poignant little moments; the times when words are just too painful to say out loud. It may not heal the hurt, but it numbs the pain and that's enough-for now.
The Summerland Fire, Douglas Isle of Man 2nd August 1973 changed me. I became a victim from that night on. It took many years before I realised that I am now in a different place, I'm a survivor. My writing helps to keep me there.
