THE LITTLE YELLOW KIOSK

Once upon a time, there was a little yellow kiosk. It lived at the big Summerland amusement complex in Douglas, Isle of Man. The kiosk was very sad, it had been partly dismantled and propped against the outside wall of Summerland- nobody needed it anymore.

Every day the kiosk waited for somebody to come and put it away in storage, but nobody came. Then one day, after what seemed like a very long time three boys with unfamiliar accents walked up to it, they broke the lock and sneaked inside. The kiosk was worried. The games the boys were playing were dangerous. They had matches which they were striking and all of a sudden a fire started, it quickly became out of control and the boys ran away from the scene of the crime-they were afraid they would get in trouble!

The fire burned steadily; surely, somebody would see it and raise the alarm, but nobody did.
Everything would have been all right if Summerland's outside wall had been fire resistant, if it had been able to withstand the heat from the flames until help came!
Unfortunately, the flames were able to creep into the building and once established, quickly became a raging inferno-consuming everything they came in contact with. The little kiosk cried yellow tears of anguish for those trapped inside, but there was nothing it could do.

If only somebody had put it away when they were meant to, then nobody would have had to suffer and everybody would have been able to live happily ever after
